This highly medicinal leaf has been used traditionally to clear fevers, lower blood suga and treat stomach upsets.
For cooking we use it for soups like, bitterleaf soup, Egusi or Ogbono etc.
All you need do is, rinse in room temperature water, squeeze and sprinkle into cooking soup. It gives a very distinctive, slightly bitter taste to your soups
