Garri Ijebu also known as Cassava Flakes is a popular and most sought after varieties of Garri that originates from the Ijebu people of Ogun Southwestern State of Nigeria. It is a staple food in Africa. It has a pleasant taste that is great for soaking in cold or room temperature clean water. Milk and Sugar can be added to taste and it is eaten with a spoon like a standard cereal. On the other hand, it can be made into “eba” when itis added to boiling water and can be eaten with any soup of your choice.
It is very rich in dietary fiber and a little quantity eaten can deter hungry for a very long time.
